MINUTES OF THE MONDAY, JUNE 25, 2012, CITY COUNCIL MEETING

The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order at 7:30 P.M., with Mayor Kenneth Smith presiding.  Upon roll call, all council members were present except Sanders, Sanders was absent.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read.   Ferris made a motion, seconded by Church, to approve the minutes as read with the addition of the Mayors comments after the motion to go into Executive Session failed.  Upon roll call, all council members present voted for.  Motion carried.

A service award was then presented to Richard Bernardoni for his years as the City Attorney.

At 8:05 P.M., Mayor Smith declared a public hearing to discuss the Annual Appropriations Ordinance.  Having no comments, Mayor Smith declared the public hearing closed at 8:06 P.M.

Raisner made a motion, seconded by Church to adopt ORDINANCE NO. 2012-O-15, the Annual Appropriations Ordinance.  Upon roll call, all council members present voted for.  Motion carried.

Clatfelter made a motion, seconded by White to purchase a Backhoe from Martin Equipment in the amount of $42,010.00.  Upon roll call, all council members present voted for.  Motion carried.

John Ferris then showed the presentation given by Sullivan, IL on the Community Swap.

Being no further business, Raisner made a motion, seconded by LeFever, to adjourn.  Upon roll call, all council members present voted for.  Motion carried.  Meeting adjourned at 8:50 P.M.
